BAGS AFTERLIFE
SEPTEMBER 2024, BLACK FOREST, GERMANY

UPCYCLED BAGS MADE FROM A NIKE CHILDREN’S JACKET, A KAPPA CYCLING SHORTS, OLD CURTAINS, AND LEFTOVER WOOL

BAGS AFTERLIFE REIMAGINES DISCARDED MATERIALS INTO EXPERIMENTAL, PLAYFUL BAGS. WITH ELEMENTS LIKE AN OLD NIKE CHILDREN’S JACKET AND KAPPA CYCLING SHORTS, EACH BAG TELLS A STORY OF TRANSFORMATION AND HERITAGE. THE PHOTOSHOOT, FEATURING MY GRANDMOTHER, EMPHASIZES THE DEEP CONNECTION BETWEEN PAST AND PRESENT, HIGHLIGHTING THE HISTORY BEHIND THE FABRICS.
SET AGAINST THE BACKDROP OF A CAR, THE BAGS INVITE INTERPRETATION—LIKE A JOURNEY, CONSTANTLY EVOLVING, WHERE UTILITY MEETS CREATIVITY AND HERITAGE FINDS NEW EXPRESSION.
